This book was really interesting. I've not read anything like it previously. The main character, Elei, begins the book having been shot. His employer was also shot and presses a piece of paper with an address into his hand before dying. The story follows Elei's journey to the address where he meets the other characters and onwards. As well as escaping his pursuers, he has a battle of his own with warring parasites inside his body. The book was well paced and kept my interest to the end. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel.
